Hudson Valley Crusaders welcome former standout Goalkeeper to continue his career off the field as our Goalkeeper coach.
Brandon Hayward comes to the Crusaders organization with a decorated playing career behind him. Hayward’s passion for the game began at a young age as he was raised by a lifelong soccer coach. Hayward began playing soccer at the age of five and still plays to this day.
He played soccer as a goalkeeper for Washington Irving High School in the AA division of the PSAL (Public Schools Athletic League). The league contains 185 schools within New York City. In 2014 and 2015, Hayward was selected as one of the top 10 players in the league. This nomination led to his selection for the US Soccer Top 100 training camp at the Colorado Olympic Base.
Hayward is currently a head coach at Cairo United FC and Hudson Valley Premier Soccer.
